Today I was marveling at how nice my ivy plants are. I have finally managed to keep a plant alive for a full year! For both of these, I changed settings on the camera to make the saturation higher but they are actually pretty green anyway. I like how close I can get to them and see the veins and the little hairs.

I guess, from the sound of your notes, that you're joining us for the "one a day" posts? Great. I've enjoyed your images so far.
Why/when/how did you go to Africa? Leah is getting ready to leave for the Peace Corps and she'll be located in Kenya. Guess I'll have to plan a "road trip" there.
