Well, Trish, I didn't really like th mailbox picture, but I did see, probably for the first time, how cool the door handles are at my apartment. Here is what I came up with. I chose the black and white to give the pictures more of an older feel and to hopefully make the craftsmanship stand out. I also used an "old canvas" filter on two of the photos. What do you think?

Jayme, your writing really made me laugh. Oh, you are SO wise! :-) I did like that canvas filter, but image #2 really caught my attention (WOW...I said to myself...LOVED IT!!!). Great job in opening up your eyes and really SEEING what is right in front of you!

Good ideas, Jayme. I love the second one. B&W really enhances the subject matter. I'm constantly surprised at how the ordinary objects in our lives can make great subjects when we use a little imagination in the way we photograph them.
