This morning, I caught a glimpse of the sky across from my grandparent's house and noticed how it seemed like layers of colored stone. I'm not sure if the picture caught the colors that I was actually seeing, but it was definitely worth a chance.

Beautiful! There's something that I really love about a scenic once the leave have fallen off the trees. Maybe because it's so graphic. Nice job.
I really like the image too! I see the layers in the hills of the background. Our valley is very scenic and you captured the scene perfectly. You framed it and portray this time of season well with the brown, bare trees and "empty" foreground/background.
