After the escapade of last night's photos, I decided to look for the simple, overlooked shot. I found these while waiting for my mom to arrive home after church.
Nothing too inspiring here, but I do like shadows and I also like the empty bird feeder. I'll have to remind my mom to fill it before the snow really covers up the ground.
Is that the loch ness monster peaking over the Amish neighbor's barn? Everytime I drive up here, that is what it reminds me of:)

I see Lochness too! Some of the best photos are the most simple, so saying your images are simple is another way of saying that they are classic. Classic, Americana!
What would that last picture look like in black and white? I wonder.
