This is a Christmas gift from my stepfather, an amish rug woven with beautiful fibers of blue, white and gold. From a distance, it just looks like a nice rug. But close up, I think the colors are so rich and amazingly soft and full. I couldn't think of anything else I wanted to photograph for the day!

Beautiful fibers
This is a Christmas gift from my stepfather, an amish rug woven with beautiful fibers of blue, white and gold. From a distance, it just looks like a nice rug. But close up, I think the colors are so rich and amazingly soft and full. I couldn't think of anything else I wanted to photograph for the day!

If you hadn't told what this is, my imagination would have taken over...I can see an army of insects fighting! :-) Looks like it's a beautiful rug...what a great gift!
