I took these after noticing the nice light streaming through the windows at my mom's house this morning. After church, we get together, talk, have tea, and just enjoy each other's company for a while. Today, she was so animated! She actually helped me to compose these pictures adding 4 suitcases to her normal 2 in the dining room, flinging pieces of plant all over the place, rearranging her many pieces of furniture for me. It was a lot of fun and I like the results too! Thanks for the help Mom!
A photographic journey: my quest for a picture that reaches into the soul and reveals something new to each and every person!

the suitcase series is really terrific.they are all great but i love the closeup!
good job jayme.
I really love this series. I like how the shadows naturally fall upone the suitcases. It doesn't look staged at all...a great scene just stumbled upon. Nice job!
Not to be a distraction to this blogg.... but Jamye;s Day in History has to be looked at today for the story of Insulin and to recall one of the most dramatic moments in medicine
I like you hinges. In fact they must be straight to each other but your extreme perspective makes the look skewed
These are wonderful, Jayme!!! The light is really beautiful, and I absolutely love the subject! If you do a book, I'd definitely include this series. I envy your relationship with your mom, too. Can I be your sister? :-)
