Luckily, I have a great boyfriend who, despite only having one arm right now, was more than willing to get an old rocking chair out of his stash of treasures and place it on the porch for me.
I took several shots as I rocked the chair to create this simple animated gif. Not quite seamless, but not too bad.
A photographic journey: my quest for a picture that reaches into the soul and reveals something new to each and every person!

show off!!!
that is so cool:)
nice job.
Wonderful, fun photos. I like the closeup of photo2 and the last is just too cool!! I really want to learn that technique. Nice job. I like the chipped paint too.
Girl you are sooo gone,,Love your ideas and your funny ways
LOVE YOUR ANIMATED ROCKING CHAIR...THE PERFECT SUBJECT FOR THIS COOL TECHNIQUE! (How about conducting a workshop and teaching that technique to all of us?). In the category of still photos, my favorite is the 2nd image. I really love the close-up of the peeling paint, and of course, the shadow cast by the chair. That said, I find myself wanting to see just a tiny bit more of the chair in that image. Great job, Jayme!
