This is what I feel today so I think I captured pictures that in some way portray this. Also, my new inspiration, Eli Reed, takes a lot of black and whites of real subjects, many showing the flaws of the subject. I've done my best to try that as well!
A photographic journey: my quest for a picture that reaches into the soul and reveals something new to each and every person!

Feeling a bit anxious myself seeing the extra work to be done!I really like the contrast in the first two pictures. Yet it is the third that captures my imagination-that of a property in decay during the "Dust Bowl" of the early 20th century. I will search these out as I work on the farm today...
These are beautiful, Jayme! The b/w images are striking...and I love your creativity of adding a bit of color.
It's an interesting topic, too...would make a terrific assignment! :-)
these are wonderful!!!
i love the selective splash of color in the first 2.
hard to pick a favorite.
could i learn to do the b&w with a spot of color?????
All of these photos are engaging. I like the color but I like the subjects even more. Your composition and use of black and white really make these photos create a mood.
Very nice. The touch of color in the first two is great, especially since the image is just a small detail to begin with.
Good visual of the way you were feeling. We've all been there, I'm sure.
