I haven't managed to kill Oscar yet, the Venus Fly Trap plant I bought at the Museum last week. In fact, he seems to be doing quite well and has caught a few flies on his own. He sure looks ferocious when pictures are taken up close!
A photographic journey: my quest for a picture that reaches into the soul and reveals something new to each and every person!

Very cool macro shots!!! I never would have guessed this is Oscar! :-)
It's hard to choose a favorite. Hmmm...#2. No...#1. Oops...definitely #2!!! :-)
(Love the bright green/white against the black background, too!)
these are great.
so glad oscar has a good appetite:)
i am with trish #2 wins by a pinch.
These are really great. I love the lighting and it's an interesting perspective on this plant. I don't think I've ever seen a real one, so this a learning experience for me.
I can't decide which I like better either. One appealing thing about the first is the little touches of green in the lower left and right corners.
Nice job.
Very cool pictures and to know that Oscar is alive is surprising..I mean heartwarming!
Seriously, the images are very very interesting.
