The Amazing Time Machine of Johnstown NY

Tonight, the group went to a little museum outside of Johnstown. Honestly? This place is like walking into a time machine. Each room is so delicately, beautifully set up with memorabilia beginning in the 1960's and retreating back into time. There is a barber shop, an ice cream shop, a motor garage, a book store...it's like walking into Smallville! I couldn't believe how many precious artifacts this man and his wife had. I certainly can't do it justice with my pictures.
These were just a few of the ones that I liked best.
I'm glad you thought of this idea, Trish.
I really needed this tonight!

Great images, Jayme. This is becoming a cliche, but it always amazes me that 5 people can be in the same place at the same time, and come up with completely different images and/or perspectives. Good job.

Very cool photos "Miss, I stink at taking pictures tonight!" Ahhh.. "Holdout" That's the term I was searching for earlier. I just knew you would have some masterpieces. All the pictures are great. I like best the bottles and the last picture of the register keys.

Beautiful images, Jayme! Not to repeat everyone (but I will!), it IS amazing that 5 of us can be at the same place at the same time, and all come away with completely different images. Was that the cash register from the barber shop? I stopped, looked, and turned away. Now I could kick myself! Very nice!!!! :-)
