Lens baby and a mystery tree

Steve graciously let me borrow his lens baby to experiment. I got this shot of the window at church, but I also tried some photos of mixed spring flowers and all I got was a white screen...anybody know why that happened?

Also, this is a mystery tree I saw growing on one of my hikes last week. There were so many of them and I knew that most of them wouldn't survive in one area, so I grabbed one and planted it in a pot to see if it would grow. The leaf buds have opened:)

Boy, I let you borrow a 'secret' and then you take a photo that is much better than ones Ive taken with the same tool. That takes nerve. Beautiful window.

I can't answer your question, but can tell you I love the 2nd image! It has an interesting perspective, and I love the sepia tone contrasting with the bright green leaves...it sets them off nicely! Great idea to include the ruler, too! Keep us posted on your little plant's growth! :-)

i absolutely love the image of the tiny tree.
the angle with the ruler and the way the baby grabs my attention are just some of the reasons why.

Jayme, I like them both, but I keep gravitating to the plant. Great perspective.
