My last day of vacation was spent cleaning the new house. I had brought the camera along, but nothing really struck me and as the day went by, I wanted nothing more than a hot meal, a warm bath and a good book:) So here is my little mystery tree (see my post from a few weeks back), still growing and leaning towards the window. What do you think of my composition? The slant of the curtain, the other plants in the background...is it okay?

I always seem to get motivated the last day of vacation...then I can't possibly clean b/c I need rest before work! Anyway, your composition is difficult for me to comment on since I don't necessarily see what you speak of. I thought is was a patterned cloth in the back.

I really like it, too! I love the interesting looking plant (and shadow). Using a shallow DOF threw the background completely out of focus (a good thing!). This gave the background the look of an abstract...a pleasing effect. Nice job for someone so tired!!! :-)
