A wish fulfilled!

Nearly every day since I've started to blog with my photos, I have traveled the same way to work. It's less than five minutes to school, but I always pass these empty fields and gasp as I come over the hill and see a beautiful sunrise. Usually, I'm so engrossed in my music, that I just pass by thinking, Oh, I wish I had stopped. Other times, I tell myself I am going to stop and then pass by a perfect place to pull over thinking there will be another perfect place up ahead...but there never is! So today, I drove extra slow and looked for a spot to stop. And what a wonderful wish fulfilled! I loved Linda's sunset post from yesterday and I'm always at school so early so here is my attempt at a simple sunrise. One regret...I don't have a tripod and also, by the time, I stopped and got a few shots that didn't end up blurry, the colors weren't nearly as spectacular as when I had first seen them. Oh well, live and learn! I'm definitely getting a tripod! The third one I did play around with PhotoFiltre and made it look like a lake reflection.

Aren't the colors at sunrise and dusk spectacular? I'm proud of you for stopping! Why do we get to work so early? We should slow down and enjoy the mornings. nah! Very nice images!

Has it been 10 days? Still going strong but isn't it tough some days? Well I don't have to tell you because you even worked hard when you were sick. I like your second photo a lot. I like the color and the simplicity of the subject. Has a feeling of motion too. Funny how my likes and mood changes when I go back to photos a few hours or day later.

Gorgeous colors, Jayme! I, too, pass by some beautiful images on the way to work each morning. Like you, I think about stopping, but never do. Good for you!!! I will think of you next time, and make an extra effort. I loved the third image the best, maybe because I am fascinated with reflections (it looked like a reflection to me). I just have one suggestion...hope you don't mind...on that third image. Try cropping out just a little bit of the black on the bottom part of the image. I think it would make it more dynamic than it already is. Great job!!!
